EISCO 2010 will be held in Bilbao with the support of the IT4ALL Network
EISCO 2010, the most important european conference on Information Society will be held on March 2010 in Bilbao and will be organizad by the Basque Association of Municipalities, EUDEL, along with ELANET and 4 European networks, being the IT4ALL Network the main promoter at global level of the Digital Local Agenda one of them.

Details of the information
The Digital Local Agenda, a strategic plan for the development of the information Society at a local level, was mentioned for the first time in EISCO 2005 in Krakow, it was also incorporated in the declaration and action plan of the World Summit of Bilbao 2005 and, since then it has been the main subject of the EISCO Conferences that are held every 18 months.
During the EISCO Conference 2008 held in Naples from the 25th to the 27th of September, was officially presented the next edition of the EISCO Conference 2010 to be held in March in Bilbao. The presentation counted with the participation of representatives from the European Commission, from the State, Basque Municipalities and EUDEL, the Basque Government and the IT4ALL Network, from which the president of the Basque country is president.
Just as the previous editions, the IT4ALL Network coordinated a parallel session dedicated to the eCapacity Building in which participated actively representatives form the European Commission, the European Committee of Regions and Municipalities, Association of Municipalities of Italy, and different countries of Europe.
The next edition of EISCO will be held in Bilbao five years after the celebration of the World Summit of the United Nations on the Information Society and will review the objectives achieved in i2010.
